ceetron glview inova post-processing for CFD & FEA simulation

GLview Inova is the classic high-end post-processor from Ceetron, built on second generation technology. It has advanced functionality for visualization, analysis, interpretation and presentation of FEA and CFD data. Having served advanced CAE professionals for two decades, it is still a favorite tool amongst many users in the CAE community. We are therefore keeping GLview Inova up-to-date with CAE file readers, performing bugfix and minor upgrades, and we have added support for “One-click sharing” using Ceetron Cloud.

GLview Inova has direct import Interfaces to most major CAE systems including, but not limited to: ANSYS, ABAQUS, FEMAP, I-DEAS, MSC.Marc, MSC.Nastran, NE/Nastran, NX Nastran, LS-DYNA, RADIOSS, PAMCRASH, FLUENT and CGNS.

Our file readers are continuously maintained, meaning that format revisions are implemented in GLview Inova within a reasonable time frame.

Two decades of hardening

GLview Inova has been continuously maintained for two decades. It is in use by hundreds for CAE professionals on an everyday basis. It has been optimized for engineering workflows in hundreds of major industrial firms. Which means that it is extremely stable and close to bug free (not an obvious thing in the software community).

Sharing, viewing and collaborating in the cloud

GLview Inova has been upgraded with cloud-based storage for today’s collaborative engineering workflows. Using the One-click sharing, you can share any model directly from GLview Inova through its “Send to Cloud” button. You can share the model with your engineering peers, whether in other disciplines, other offices, external service providers, or customers. GLview Inova’s One-click sharing can be configured to support public or private cloud infrastructures.

License management

Version 10.0 of GLview Inova uses FlexNet Publisher.

Two different types of licenses are available:

  1. Node locked license. With this type of license, one seat for GLview Inova is limited to be used on one specific computer. This type of license does not require a license server to be available and is a good option for users that need to have GLview Inova available when the computer is not connected to the company network.
  2. Floating license. With this type of license, one or more seats for GLview Inova is made available to a group of users by setting up a license server – any computer that can communicate with the license server will be able to request a seat for GLview Inova. The number of concurrent users will be limited by the number of seats that are available in the license file.

For all types of licenses, technical information of the computer that will manage the license is required. The following is required:

  1. Node locked license. Host ID of the computer running GLview Inova
  2. Floating license. Host name or IP address and Host ID of the computer running the FlexNet license server

The Host ID of a computer is the MAC address of the (main) network card on the computer. If GLview Inova version 10.x is already installed on the computer, the Start-menu entry “Host ID for GLview Inova licenses…” will extract this information for you.

Please send us the requested information by e-mail to and we will issue a license file.
