Published by by Grim Gjønnes

(15.12.2016) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.5 has been released. The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including .extended and refactored scalar mappers and color legend in cee::Visualization (with 4 new scalar mappers added), a new cee::ug::ColorMapper::setTextureSize() to control texture size, and support for drawing cutting planes with the color of the source part.

3D Components is a development toolkit for 3D visualization of CAE data. It has been optimized for FEA and CFD models and results, and aims at software developers within CAE, science and engineering.  3D Components is used by leading  providers of solvers and simulators for the CAE community, including DNV GL, Transvalor, and Autodesk.

The release comes with the following improvements and fixes:
  • Extended and refactored scalar mappers and color legend in cee::Visualization, including added 4 new scalar mappers: ScalarMapperFilledContoursUniform, ScalarMapperFilledContours, ScalarMapperContinuous and ScalarMapperContinuousPiecewise

  • New cee::ug::ColorMapper::setTextureSize() to control the size of the texture used in the UnstructGridModel to show scalars

  • Support for drawing cutting planes with the color of the source part (if not mapping results onto the plane)

For detailed specification of the above, see our release notes.
