Webinar: Creating WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories

(15.03.2017) In this webinar, Ceetron’s CTO Fredrik Viken will demonstrate how to build a WebGL-based CAE viewer from scratch in 30 minutes using Ceetron Cloud Components (C3).

The webinar will be hands on with coding in real time. For the purpose of the webinar, the data source will be a CAE model repository implemented in AWS. The outcome, if all goes well, will be a CAE 3D viewer that works on any device from smartphone to workstation, with no installation, no plugin. Plus stunning interaction performance (no remote visualization here).

Fredrik will also showcase some new stuff in Cloud Components 1.1.0, scheduled for release 20.03.2017, including geometry model, mark-up model, and improved and unified APIs.

The webinar will be held in two time slots and both webinars will be live, with opportunities for questions from the audience.

Date and time: March 22 13:00 CET (for European and Asian attendees)/09:00 PDT (for attendees from the Americas). The webinars will last for approx. 40 minutes.

Who should attend: Software developers and technical management who want to build cloud-based solvers / cloud-enable their desktop offerings.

Prerequisites: Coding experience.  Some experience with Javascript/Typescript may be useful.

About the speaker: Fredrik is Technical Director at Ceetron, and also member of the Board of Ceetron. Fredrik has been the lead architect and software developer of Ceetron’s portfolio of cloud-based technologies. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from NTNU, Trondheim.
