Release: Proud of our release of Cloud Components 1.0.0

Published by by Grim Gjønnes

(26.11.2016) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 1.0.0. Cloud Components is an SDK for creating 3D visualization web apps for cloud-based solvers and CAE model repositories. We believe it is simply the best way to deliver 3D visual content to your clients: No installation, no plug in, just stellar visualization performance in the client's preferred browser.

Cloud Components has been created to respond to today's cloudification imperative in CAE.  It offers an uncompromising path to premium 3D visualization performance for cloud-based CAE applications, whether starting from scratch or migrating an existing desktop-based solution.

And we mean uncompromising in a way that server-side rendering can never aspire to (at least not for real-world use cases), in terms of latency, performance, interactivity, scalability, and flexibility.

Server-side requirements for Cloud Components are: node.js and socket.io.  Client-side requirements are: WebGL and socket.io.

Cloud Components has been built on top of 3D Components from Ceetron, our 3D visualization platform for heavy 3D lifting in CAE.

Cloud Components is delivered with several example applications with full source code to reduce the time to get up and running with a 3D visualization solution for your CAE application.

The new release of Cloud Components can be downloaded from our developer download page https://ceetron.com/developer-zone/download.

We encourage current beta program participants and evaluators to always stay on latest version of the software.  If you are an evaluator and if your eval key has expired, feel free to go to the download page and request a new eval key, by clicking on ‘request evaluation key’.

Thanks by the way to all participants in the Cloud Components beta program for valuable feedback and contributions.
