Release: Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.0

Published by Grim Gjønnes

(21.03.2017) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.0, for development of WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including a geometry model for models with large number of parts (100k-1m), a mark-up model, and improved and unified APIs.

The product is now distributed in two variants, with or without CAE file readers.  Your access to the CAE file readers is determined by your licensing key.

The new version of the software can be downloaded from our download area.  On the same page, potential evaluators can request eval keys for the products.

The chief architect behind the release, Ceetron's Fredrik Viken, will by the way conduct a webinar on 23.03.2017 in which he will showcase some of the new features, in addition to demo in real time how to use Cloud Components for the development of a 3D CAE viewer.  For more info about the webinar, see here.  We encourage interested parties to register for the webinar.

We generally recommend current and prospective users of Cloud Components and our other SDKs to develop using the latest version of the SDKs available.
