Release: 3D Components 1.3.0 with Ceetron Report is out

Published by by Grim Gjønnes

(08.02.2016) Ceetron 3D Components 1.3.0 with Ceetron Report has been released. The Ceetron Report component has been architected for enhancing FEA- and CFD-based CAE offerings with engineering report generation functionality. The component allows end users to create engineering reports directly in MS Word or MS PowerPoint formats.

It facilitates the capturing, organizing and presentation of data; in effect reducing an end user's time spent on error-prone routine work and increasing her time spent on qualified technical analysis.  Interactive 3D content, images, 2D plots, simulation variables (e.g. min, max values), tabular data, and similar data types can easily be included in a report.

Ceetron Report is targeted at ISVs creating software for the CAE community, but could also be of relevance for teams writing in-house code.

All vendors of CAE software, whether currently basing their offering on Ceetron SDKs or not, can benefit from the Report Component, with very limited coding. For existing users of Ceetron 3D Components, the basic infrastructure is already in place. For non-users of Ceetron 3D Components, Report Component comes with the required programming modules for its hassle-free integration into existing CAE offerings.

Ceetron Report is compatible with MS Office 2007, MS Office 2010, MS Office 2013 and MS Office 2015/2016.

For detailed specification of the above, see our release notes.

We encourage our customers and evaluators to always stay on latest version of the software.
