Webinar : Advanced post-processing of simulation results using Python

(14.05.2017) In this webinar at 16:00 on May 18, Andres Rodriguez-Villa will show how to use the Python interface of Ceetron 3D Components to open a simulation result database, create new user-defined results and share them in the Cloud.  The seminar will be held in French.  We will probably arrange same seminar in English at a later point in time.

Release: Cloud Components 1.2.2 is out

(29.04.2017) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.2, for development of WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including support for OpenFOAM files, better memory management for session memory, server-side cleaning of part piece cache, and region selection of parts in the Geometry Model.

Release: 3D Components 1.4.7 is out

(23.04.2017) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.7 has been released.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including optimized display model generation for unstruct grid models, phase-response of a modal analysis at a given frequency, query for calculating the volume of an element, and reader for PTC neutral files (.neu).

Release: Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.0

(21.03.2017) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.0, for development of WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including a geometry model for models with large number of parts (100k-1m), a mark-up model, and improved and unified APIs.

Release: 3D Components 1.4.6 is out

(17.02.2017) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.6 has been released. The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including support for increased number of clipping planes, improved accuracy of scalar mapping for filled contours when having very uneven levels, and reader for MSC/Marc .t16 and .t14 files. 

New offering: Cloud Components on Docker

(21.12.2016) Ceetron is happy to inform current and prospective customers about our new now offering: Cloud Components as Docker containers. Docker containers can be deployed on all infrastructures on which Docker can be installed, ranging from one's local machine (Win/OSX/Linux), to public cloud infrastructures like AWS and MS Azure. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year by the way to all our friends in the CAE and software development communities.

Release: 3D Components 1.4.5 is out

(15.12.2016) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.5 has been released. The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including .extended and refactored scalar mappers and color legend in cee::Visualization (with 4 new scalar mappers added), a new cee::ug::ColorMapper::setTextureSize() to control texture size, and support for drawing cutting planes with the color of the source part.

(26.11.2016) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 1.0.0. Cloud Components is an SDK for creating 3D visualization web apps for cloud-based solvers and CAE model repositories. We believe it is simply the best way to deliver 3D visual content to your clients: No installation, no plug in, just stellar visualization performance in the client's preferred browser.

Release: 3D Components 1.4.4 is out

(03.11.2016) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.4 has been released. The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including updated ImportCAE file readers with support for Abaqus 2016 models files, new readers for LS-DYNA files, new STL reader, support for nodes sets in the UnstructGrid component, and improved querying functionality for edges.

Ceetron Insight: Trip report from 34th CADFEM ANSYS simulation conference

(17.10.2016) Ceetron exhibited at the 34th CADFEM ANSYS simulation conference in Nuremberg on October 5-7.  In a blog post, Ceetron's head of S&M shares some reflections from the conference, including on innovation processes in smaller German CAE software providers and on remote visualization.  For full blog post, see here.

Release: 3D Components 1.4.3 is out

(19.09.2016) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.3 has been released. The release includes a number of improvements and fixes, including updated ImportCAE file readers, new element-extracting queries to ElementsQuery, and View::regionClosestVertex() for finding the vertex closest to a front clipping plane.

Release: 3D Viewer 1.2.1 has been released

(24.08.2016) 3D Viewer 1.2.1 was released today.  The release includes certain performance-related fixes, fixes related to first/last frame delay, support for mode shape properties, support for custom description, and support for cutting plane animation.

Event: Ceetron at NAFEMS India 2016 in Bengaluru

(22.08.2016) Dr. Grim Gjønnes from Ceetron will give a presentation at NAFEMS India 2016, about 'Interactive and scalable 3D visualization of very large CAE models located in the cloud'.  Ceetron will also have a booth at the conference, which will take place in Bengaluru on August 29-31.

(09.08.2016) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.2 has been released. The release includes added support for cutting plane animation, improved performance for certain operations in the UnstructGridModel, and a number of other improvements and bug fixes.
