Release: GLview Inova 10.2 is shipping

(25.05.2018) GLview Inova 10.2 has been released. The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including updated file readers (including ANSYS 18.0, MSC.Marc 2017, MSC.Nastran 2018, and ABAQUS 6R2018x); improved handling of complex results from NASTRAN; side-by-side stereo support; and additional extrapolation schemes for MSC.Marc files.

Release: 3D Components 2.1.0 is shipping

(01.05.2018) Ceetron 3D Components 2.1.0 has been released. The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including optimized display model generation; for Qt developers: added support for using ANGLE/MESA renderers (e.g., for remote desktop); optimization of isovolume calculations; optimization of mode shape animation; and replacement of DataSourceLinearCombination with StateLinearCombination (much leaner and faster).

Important info: Ceetron updates its standard T&Cs for SDK licensees

(24.01.2018) Ceetron has decided to update its standard T&Cs / development license for SDK licensees.  The new T&Cs do not apply to the distribution of derivative works to third-parties, for which a separate distribution license would be required.  The new T&Cs can be found here.  Please note that any existing agreement between a licensee and Ceetron, including negotiated T&Cs and OEM agreements, takes precedence over these standard T&Cs.  

Release: Shipping 3D Components 2.0.0

(19.01.2018) Ceetron 3D Components 2.0.0 has been released.  The release contains a number of improvements, including support for polyhedron elements in the UnstructGrid Component, in VTFx, and in OpenFOAM and VTU file readers; new class ResultsQuery for retrieving results on selected nodes and elements from a given data source; reference to physical nature in ResultInfo (allowing for consistent identification of results, regardless of their name); and support for import / export of element sets. 

Release: Finally, Ceetron Cloud Components 2.2.0

(19.01.2018) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 2.2.0.  The release is based Node 8.x, which means that a server running the Remote Model server needs to be upgraded to Node 8.x.  The build environments have also been upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04 for the Linux version, VS2015 for the Windows version and macOS High Sierra for the Mac version.

Release: Ceetron Cloud Components 2.1.0 is out

(23.11.2017) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 2.1.0, for the development of WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including stateless, high-performance geometry server; improved label visualization; improved halo/silhouette highlighting; and snap-to selection of hot spots in the model. 

Release: Cloud Components 2.0.0 is out

(02.10.2017) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 2.0.0, for development of WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including a new component for client-side handling of surface FEA models, improved performance for the OpenFOAM file reader, full support for polyhedron elements in the RemoteModel, and support for highlighting of parts.

Release: Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.8 is out

(30.08.2017) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.8, for development of WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including support for per part transformations, per vertex normals, querying all nodes for a part, eye lift, and texture for line parts in the geometry model. 

Release: 3D Viewer for Oculus Rift 1.1.0

(28.06.2017) Ceetron is proud to announce the release of 3D Viewer for Oculus Rift 1.1.0. The release includes certain functional enhancements and fixes, including support for Touch hand controllers, configurable model gallery, improved show room, "ninja mode" cutting plane specification, picking using locator beam from the Touch controller, and built with Oculus Rift SDK 1.15. 

Webinar : Advanced post-processing of simulation results using Python

(14.05.2017) In this webinar at 16:00 on May 18, Andres Rodriguez-Villa will show how to use the Python interface of Ceetron 3D Components to open a simulation result database, create new user-defined results and share them in the Cloud.  The seminar will be held in French.  We will probably arrange same seminar in English at a later point in time.

Release: Cloud Components 1.2.2 is out

(29.04.2017) Ceetron released today Ceetron Cloud Components 1.2.2, for development of WebGL-based 3D visualization apps for cloud-based CAE solvers and model repositories.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including support for OpenFOAM files, better memory management for session memory, server-side cleaning of part piece cache, and region selection of parts in the Geometry Model.

Release: 3D Components 1.4.7 is out

(23.04.2017) Ceetron 3D Components 1.4.7 has been released.  The release contains a number of improvements and fixes, including optimized display model generation for unstruct grid models, phase-response of a modal analysis at a given frequency, query for calculating the volume of an element, and reader for PTC neutral files (.neu).
